The United States of America, a country of 50 states is located in central North America. The country gained her independence from Great Britain in 1776,as a result of a revolution war, also called “The American War of Independence”. Which lasted from 1775 to 1783. The war saw to the independence of the country. which is now seen as world power. America is considered a world power because of it’s large size, and it’s population estimate of 328,239,523. America also played an important role in ending Hitler’s Nazi Germany during world war ii, from 1939 to 1945, where the then president, Franklin Delano Roosevelt played a crucial role. In 1942, “FDR” forged a coalition of twenty- six nations which affirmed the ideals set by the Atlantic charter,, Roosevelt named this coalition the “United Nations” the president hoped that the “United Nations”, as an organization would outlast the war, and henceforth adopt a new agenda: WORLD PEACE.
The United States, is currently in a poll to decide who will be the next president of the federation. Incumbent president Donald J. Trump is the 45th president of the sovereign state. He assumed office in 2017 as Republican president after defeating Democrat, Hillary Clinton, wife of former president Bill Clinton.
America, since independence in 1776 has had 45 presidents! including the first… George Washington, down to Abraham Lincoln, J. F. Kennedy, Ronald Regan, George bush, George walker bush, barrack Obama, incumbent Donald Trump, and others…
For months now, the political talk has been who will be the next president of America. And seems the quest for the next most powerful Man in the world (American president) is between, on seat Republican Donald Trump, and Democratic candidate Joseph Robinette Biden Jr, who served as the 47th vice president in the barrack Obama administration from 2009 to 2017. Speculations have it that Joe Biden has gotten more followers since he announced senator Kamala Harris as his running mate in the November 2020 polls.
Joe Biden has formerly served as a senator of the United States from Daleware since 1973-2009.
There’s still suspense on who the next president of America will be until the conclusion of the ongoing election. But till then we have to keep our fingers crossed, and hope the best candidate wins.
