Beauty Fest Africa creates an opportunity for beauty entrepreneurs all over Africa to access knowledge and thrive for economic growth in a digital/virtual space. The virtual festival, which took place from July 3rd – 5th, included three days of sharing knowledge and providing solutions to the challenges in the beauty industry.
This year’s event featured Bimpe Onakoya, global award-winning makeup artist, Creative Director, Maybelline NY Nigeria, Kemi Lewis, Creative Director, KLS Natural Beauty, beauty content creator and YouTuber, Dimma Umeh, Co-Founder, Piggy Vest, Odun Eweniyi and several others.
The three-day experience was extended to a global audience of viewers and featured virtual panels, masterclasses and experts from around the world. The Fest also included a mentorship program to raise an army of leaders and inspiring beauty professionals to grow and thrive in the beauty industry.
Research shows that the average beauty startup has a lifetime of 5 years; the conference looks to change that narrative by equipping African beauty professionals with business skills that will give them the opportunity to thrive. The essence of the conference is also to give beauty entrepreneurs access to knowledge on how they can thrive in a digital or virtual space for economic growth.
Beauty Fest Africa is passionate about placing African entrepreneurs in the spotlight globally, giving them a chance as their counterparts in other continents.
